Basketball Recap: Mission Oak Skates Past Lemoore with Ease

Mission Oak had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Lemoore Tigers, posting a 59-31 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-21 back in December of 2024.

Mission Oak was led to victory by Aiyana Murray and Braelyn Serpa. Murray almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine steals, while Serpa posted 14 points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave Serpa a new career-high. Miya Centeno was another key player, putting up four points along with nine boards and six assists.

Mission Oak was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Mission Oak pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lemoore, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Mission Oak has already played their next game, a 53-40 victory against Tulare Union on the 16th. As for Lemoore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 76-8 defeat against Dinuba on the 16th.
