Montgomery's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-6. As for Cardinal Newman, their victory bumped their record up to 21-2.
Montgomery might still be hurting after the 60-36 defeat they got from Cardinal Newman in their previous meeting on January 10th. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Montgomery was down 36-16.
