Soccer Recap: Williams Comes Up Short

Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Willows Honkers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Honkers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in January.

Williams hit Willows with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fernanda Avila, Lorielle Contreras, and Yoselin Vasquez.

Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-2. As for Willows, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-13-3.

Looking ahead, Williams will face off against Pierce at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willows, they will take on Winters at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Winters will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Willows surely won't give up without a fight.
