Soccer Recap: St. Anthony Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, St. Anthony has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ramona Convent Tigers. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Jeweliana Moreno wasn't going to let Ramona Convent walk away unscathed as she scored both of St. Anthony's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

St. Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Ramona Convent, they moved to 5-10-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

St. Anthony wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against St. Monica on the 23rd. Ramona Convent has also already played their next contest, a 9-1 loss against Bishop Montgomery on the 23rd.
