After flying high against Convent of the Sacred Heart last Wednesday, Urban came back down to earth. The Urban Blues were dealt a 65-30 defeat at the hands of the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers on Friday. The Blues' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Lick-Wilmerding's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaelyn Villavicencio led the charge by going 5 for 7 on her way to 13 points. The dominant performance gave Villavicencio a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauryn Lacap, who posted eight points and three steals.

Urban's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Urban will welcome Marin Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lick-Wilmerding, they will face off against Convent of the Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
