Soccer Game Preview: North vs. Santa Monica

North hasn't had much luck against Santa Monica recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The North Saxons will take on the Santa Monica Vikings at 9:30 a.m. Santa Monica took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on North, who comes in off a win.

Santa Monica is hoping to do what Cerritos couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to North's winning streak, which now stands at three games. North came out on top against Cerritos by a score of 3-1.

North hit Cerritos with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lizette Navarro, Zoe Rhodes, and Kaylie Schumann.

Meanwhile, Santa Monica came up short against Mira Costa on Monday and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Santa Monica and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1. As for North, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.
