Baseball Recap: Walker's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Walker fell victim to Mount Paran Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Eagles. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 6-5 to the Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Walker's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-12. As for Mount Paran Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Walker will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dominion Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Knights will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will face off against Buford at 1:00 p.m. on the 12th.
