Basketball Game Preview: Piedmont Hills Pirates vs. Ann Sobrato Bulldogs

The Piedmont Hills Pirates will head out to face off against the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Piedmont Hills is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Piedmont Hills was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-40 to Westmont.

Live Oak typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Ann Sobrato proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged the Acorns out 27-25. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ann Sobrato's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for Piedmont Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Piedmont Hills beat Ann Sobrato 38-28 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Piedmont Hills since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
