Lana Wilson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). She was up against Clarke Central and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in October of 2024. Wilson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Wilson's effort led Apalachee over Clarke Central and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
