Soccer Game Preview: Northgate vs. Campolindo

The Northgate Broncos will take on the Campolindo Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northgate's last seven games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Thursday, Northgate didn't have quite enough to beat Miramonte and fell 2-1.

Northgate's goal came courtesy of Leah Cooper, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, neither Campolindo nor Acalanes could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Northgate's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-2 and their overall record down to 7-3-4. Campolindo's draw gives them a new season record of 12-3-3.

Northgate took their win against Campolindo in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 5-1. Does Northgate have another victory up their sleeve, or will Campolindo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
