Soccer Recap: Piedmont Academy Comes Up Short

Piedmont Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers. The shutout was out of character for Piedmont Academy seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Piedmont Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Mount de Sales Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Piedmont Academy and Mount de Sales Academy will both be playing Stratford Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
