Basketball Recap: Taliyah Craft's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Buhach Colony over Oakdale + How To Watch

After soaring to 65 points the game before, Buhach Colony was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Oakdale Mustangs, falling 45-22. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 950th, while the Mustangs are ranked 242nd).

Several Thunder players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taliyah Craft, who posted 14 points and six steals. That was a full 63.6% of Buhach Colony's points, marking the third time in a row Craft has scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Anya Gleling, who put up four points and four steals.

Buhach Colony's defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Oakdale, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Buhach Colony has already played their next game (against Waterford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Oakdale, they are taking a road trip to square off against Golden Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
