Even if they lost, West Orange's defense still kept up the pressure with nine sacks. It was truly a group effort as Shanise Barrino, Luana Denardi, Camaya Jean Louis, and Jacinya Garner picked up two apiece. Garner has been hot, having posted at least one sack the last seven times she's played.

As for Newark Central, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games.

A big part of Newark Central's victory came down to the chemistry between Taylor Jones and her top target Serenity Muhammad. Jones rushed for 139 yards on only 11 carries while Muhammad picked up 49 receiving yards and one touchdown. Muhammad was even better on defense, defending five passes and snagged an interception.

As of now, neither West Orange nor Newark Central have any future games scheduled.
