Football Recap: Royse City Bulldogs vs. Longview Lobos
Friday just wasn't the day for Royse City's offense. They were beaten by the Longview Lobos 30-0 on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.
It was another big night for Kelvin Washington, who rushed for 184 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries for Longview. Washington's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 136 rushing yards.
Royse City dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Longview, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Royse City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Longview, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 23-13 win against Naaman Forest on the 15th.
