Soccer Recap: Mt. Carmel Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Mt. Carmel was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Westview Wolverines could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Mt. Carmel's draw makes their record 10-4-1 this season. Meanwhile, Westview's record is now 5-2-3.

Mt. Carmel will head out on the road to face off against Mission Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Westview, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Poway at 5:30 p.m. Westview's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
