Baseball Recap: Passaic Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kennedy on Friday, Passaic Valley came back down to earth. The Hornets came up short against the Glen Rock Panthers on Monday, falling 11-1.

Passaic Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mike Liotti, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Passaic Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15-1 record this season. As for Glen Rock, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-5-1.

Looking ahead, Passaic Valley will head out on the road to take on West Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Glen Rock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dumont at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
