Softball Recap: Eagle's Landing Comes Up Short

Eagle's Landing was the 19-7 winner over Woodland when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 16-7 to the Wolfpack on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eagle's Landing's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Woodland, their win ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-3.

Coming up, Eagle's Landing will square off against Locust Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodland, they are taking a road trip to square off against Union Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wolfpack will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
