Basketball Game Preview: Rowland Raiders vs. Wilson Wildcats

Rowland is 9-1 against Wilson since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Rowland Raiders will host the Wilson Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Rowland's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Wilson has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Last Thursday, Rowland got the win against Covina by a conclusive 58-32. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Rowland relied on the efforts of Adrienne Bausley, who posted 18 points in addition to five assists and five steals, and Isabella Tran, who had 19 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. The game was Bausley's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lily Ding, who scored four points.

Meanwhile, Wilson posted their closest win since December 19, 2023 on Thursday. They skirted past Charter Oak 50-47.

Rowland has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Wilson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.

Rowland took their win against Wilson when the teams last played on January 9th by a conclusive 60-35. Will Rowland repeat their success, or does Wilson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
