Basketball Recap: Bernstein Piles Up the Points Against Belmont

Bernstein won the last time they faced Belmont and things went their way on Friday too. The Bernstein Dragons took their contest with ease, bagging a 62-20 victory over the Belmont Sentinels. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-3.

Bernstein's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Stephanie Ferreira, who posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave Ferreira a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maliah Edwards, who scored 17 points.

Bernstein's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Belmont, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bernstein has already played their next game (against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Belmont has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Contreras.
