It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Basehor-Linwood had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves with points to spare, taking the game 28-10. The win was just business as usual for the Bobcats, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.

Carson Dixon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 104 yards on only nine carries, while also throwing for 166 yards and one touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Blue Valley Southwest lost, don't look at AJ Keuwo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 90 yards and one TD. The Timberwolves also got help from Blake Thomas, who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.

Basehor-Linwood's record now sits at 9-0. As for Blue Valley Southwest, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Basehor-Linwood will take on De Soto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. Blue Valley Southwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
