Soccer Game Preview: Christopher vs. Santa Teresa

The Christopher Cougars will face off against the Santa Teresa Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Teresa took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Christopher, who comes in off a win.

Christopher is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Live Oak a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. Ella Oetinger was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Santa Teresa came up short against Evergreen Valley on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The win was the third in a row for Christopher, bringing their record for this year to 9-3-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Santa Teresa, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season.
