Riverdale barely beat Mt. Zion the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Riverdale put the hurt on Mt. Zion with a sharp 10-4 win on Wednesday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Tristan Ford was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-2. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Dashward Zeck also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Ford wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Riverdale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for Riverdale: they were averaging 4.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.

Riverdale now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Mt. Zion, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Riverdale will have a chance to go back-to-back against Mt. Zion: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
