Soccer Game Preview: Hamilton vs. Walnut Hills

Hamilton is 0-4 against Walnut Hills since September of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Big Blue will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Hamilton's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Hamilton is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Lakota East on Thursday. Neither the Big Blue nor the Thunderhawks could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Walnut Hills' offense. They fell 2-0 to Beavercreek on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Walnut Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Beavercreek are ranked 22nd).

Walnut Hills' loss dropped their record down to 5-4-4. Hamilton's draw makes their record 6-5-1 this season.

Hamilton might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Walnut Hills in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Big Blue avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
