Recap: Upper Lake Cougars vs. Ferndale Wildcats
The Upper Lake Cougars lost against the Ferndale Wildcats back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Upper Lake took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ferndale. Upper Lake has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ferndale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reaghan Langer led the charge by scoring 15 points. Another player making a difference was Michaela Ellsmore, who scored 14 points.
Upper Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ferndale, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Upper Lake will stay at home for another game and welcome Ukiah at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Ukiah comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Ferndale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Cloverdale at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st.
