Basketball Recap: West Mifflin Takes a Loss

West Mifflin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-25 loss at the hands of the Penn-Trafford Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-17 back in December of 2024.

It was another big night for Torrie Destefano, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 16 points for Penn-Trafford. Another player making a difference was Lauren Marton, who posted eight points and seven boards.

West Mifflin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Penn-Trafford, they pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

West Mifflin will venture away from home to take on McKeesport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Penn-Trafford has already played their next game (against Plum), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
