Basketball Game Preview: Enochs Eagles vs. Los Banos Tigers

The Enochs Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Los Banos Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Enochs' tournament run continued when they took on Grace Davis last Saturday. Enochs received a blow as they fell 59-44 to Grace Davis. The Eagles have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, Enochs had strong showings from Alivia Pierce, who posted 14 points and five rebounds, and Destiny Ngo, who had 15 points and seven rebounds. Those 15 points gave Ngo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Ramsay, who put up five points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Los Banos challenged Pacheco on Friday. Los Banos walked away with a 48-40 victory over Pacheco. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Los Banos pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Enochs, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
