Softball Recap: Montrose Comes Up Short

Montrose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster Wolves.

Montrose saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Blacker, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Montrose's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Westminster, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Montrose does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westminster, they have already played their next matchup, a 7-1 loss against Ponderosa on the 17th.
