Volleyball Recap: Needles Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Needles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the White Pine Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Needles started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-9, 15-3.

Needles now has a losing record of 7-8. As for White Pine, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Needles will take on rival GV Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, White Pine is set to face off against their familiar foe Lincoln County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
