Encinal strolled past St. Joseph Notre Dame with points to spare, taking the game 65-49. Given Encinal's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while St. Joseph Notre Dame is ranked 857th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jazzy Alcantar, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds. Lola Whalen was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
