Soccer Recap: Christian Heritage Takes a Loss

Christian Heritage pushed their score to zero the last time they played Gordon Central, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Christian Heritage Lions fell just short of the Gordon Central Warriors by a score of 1-0. The Lions have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Christian Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Gordon Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage will head out to square off against Chattooga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Heritage will be up against Chattooga's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.33 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gordon Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Dalton Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gordon Central's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
