Soccer Game Preview: Shikellamy vs. Hughesville

The Shikellamy Braves will venture away from home to square off against the Hughesville Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shikellamy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Shikellamy came up short against Danville and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Shikellamy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 321st, while Danville are ranked 156th).

Meanwhile, Hughesville has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 24. They and Montoursville finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Shikellamy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1. Hughesville's draw gives them a new season record of 7-8-2.
