After losing to Northwest the last time they met, Maize decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Grizzlies on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Maize, who have now won six matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Maize has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six contests. As for Northwest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9-2.

Coming up, Maize is taking a road trip to face off against Haysville Campus on Tuesday. As for Northwest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East on Tuesday.
