Rossville extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Canann Mitchell. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 36-22 win over the Olpe Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Mitchell, who rushed for 151 yards and two scores on only 14 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 81 yards.

Rossville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Conner Bush and Cameron Miller.

When it comes to explaining why Olpe lost, don't look at Brayden Lienemann. Despite the final result, he rushed for 24 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 46 yards and one TD.

Rossville's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Olpe, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Rossville will welcome Wabaunsee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Chargers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Olpe, they will take on Cair Paravel at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
