Volleyball Recap: Evant Comes Up Short

Evant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bluff Dale Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-8, 25-10.

Evant's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Bluff Dale, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9-2.

Evant and Bluff Dale will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Elks are set to challenge their familiar foe Oglesby at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bluff Dale will square off against rival Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
