Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Westran Hornets, falling 23-2. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Westran, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will host New Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westran, they will square off against North Shelby at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
