Jae Gooder put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in September of 2024 on Thursday. She struck out nine batters over 7.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
