The Central York Panthers were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past the Cedar Cliff Colts 42-7. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

Central York got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brendyn Smith out in front who picked up 115 receiving yards and five TDs. Those five receiving touchdowns gave Smith a new career-high. Central York also got a significant boost from Legend Johnson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 112 yards.

Central York pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points over those games. As for Cedar Cliff, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Central York will challenge Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 14.5 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Cedar Cliff does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
