Basketball Recap: Calabasas' Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Calabasas's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Grant Lancers by a score of 46-38. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Coyotes as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Calabasas had a senior duo take command as Scarlett Weiner posted 17 points and Ava Yazdandoost earned 15 points.

Calabasas' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14. As for Grant, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 10-6 record.

Calabasas has already played their next match, a 53-42 loss against Agoura on the 4th. As for Grant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-23 defeat against Verdugo Hills on the 3rd.
