Softball Recap: Indianola Takes a Loss

Indianola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Norwalk Warriors. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 8-7.

Indianola's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Norwalk, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Norwalk beat Indianola by a score of 11-1 later that day.
