Softball Recap: Johnson County Takes a Loss

Johnson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Wilcox County Patriots, falling 15-7. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to the Patriots when the teams met back in August of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Johnson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wilcox County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson County will take on Brentwood in a tournament on Saturday. As for Wilcox County, they will square off against Telfair County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
