Soccer Recap: Cedar Shoals Takes a Loss

Cedar Shoals entered their game against Eastside on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cedar Shoals Jaguars lost 5-1 to the Eastside Eagles. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Jaguars struggled afterwards.

Cedar Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Eastside, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Shoals will head out to challenge East Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastside, they will take on Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walnut Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
