Utah high school football rankings: Pleasant Grove moves into Top 5

Big games from Sam Leavitt, Rex Connors helps Vikings improve to 4-0.

A total of 14 teams in the Utah Top 25 football rankings still remain undefeated after week four of action. The top six teams are off to 4-0 starts, including Pleasant Grove which jumped four spots to No. 5 after a 36-10 win Friday over Wasatch.

Sam Leavitt threw for four touchdowns while Rex Connorss added another two on the ground. The Vikings travel to No. 11 Lehi on Friday. 

Bonneville (Washington Terrace) has joined this week's rankings at No. 19. After a 14-14 tie at half with Mountain Crest, the Lakers scored 28 straight points to improve to 3-1.

No. 2 Lone Peak (Highland) defeated Farmington, 55-7


No. 4 American Fork defeated East (Salt Lake City), 69-49

No. 5 Pleasant Grove ddefeated Wasatch (Heber City), 36-10.

Maddux Madsen, American Fork: Completed 29-of-44 passes for 628 yards, nine touchdowns and no interceptions in win over East.

Jaxson Dart, Corner Canyon: Completed 16-of-23 passes for 421 yards and six touchdowns in win over Jordan.

Noah Kjar, Corner Canyon: Had 11 catches for 207 yards and three touchdowns in win over Jordan.

Fisher Ingersoll, American Fork: Had nine catches for 240 yards and three touchdowns in win over East.

Bird Butler, West (Salt Lake City): Contributed three interceptions to go along with five catches for 59 yards and a touchdown in an 18-7 win over Cypus.
