Soccer Game Preview: Buena Park vs. Tustin

The Buena Park Coyotes will challenge the Tustin Tillers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buena Park's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 13 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Buena Park's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kennedy on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 918th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 182nd).

While Tustin's fans didn't get a definitive result on Tuesday, they were treated to the team's highest-scoring tie of the season. They and Segerstrom finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Buena Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. Tustin's draw makes their record 6-5-4 this season.
