Basketball Game Preview: Eureka Loggers vs. Del Norte Warriors

Eureka has gone 8-2 against Del Norte recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Loggers will face off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Eureka is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Eureka is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Shasta: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Loggers blew the Wolves out of the water with a 55-18 final score. The Loggers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Del Norte hadn't done well against McKinleyville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Warriors came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 44-36.

Eureka's record now sits at 12-4. As for Del Norte, their record is now 8-6.

Eureka got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in January of 2025 against Del Norte by a conclusive 65-40 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Loggers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
