It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Prince Avenue Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Hart County Bulldogs by a score of 6-2. The win was familiar territory for the Wolverines, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Luke Burnett was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Giddens, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Prince Avenue Christian pushed their record up to 22-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Hart County, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.

Prince Avenue Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
