Basketball Game Preview: Lee Williams Volunteers vs. Flagstaff Eagles

Lee Williams is 0-10 against Flagstaff since December of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Lee Williams Volunteers will take on the Flagstaff Eagles in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. at. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Lee Williams turned things around against Kingman on Tuesday. They strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 49-35.

Meanwhile, Flagstaff entered their tilt with Poston Butte on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Broncos 64-37. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 27 points or more this season.

Flagstaff now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lee Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Lee Williams took a serious blow against Flagstaff when the teams last played back in January, falling 62-32. Thankfully for Lee Williams, Morningrain Honani (who went 7 of 14 on her way to 19 points and four steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
