Soccer Game Preview: Mission College Prep vs. Nipomo

The Mission College Prep Royals will face off against the Nipomo Titans at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Mission College Prep will be strutting in after a victory while Nipomo will be coming in after a loss.

Mission College Prep's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Morro Bay. That's two games straight that the Royals have won by exactly four goals.

They hit Morro Bay with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sarah Connors (2), Isabel Medeiros, and Elizabeth Morton.

Meanwhile, Nipomo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against Templeton, falling 4-0.

Mission College Prep has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those eight contests. As for Nipomo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17-1.
