Softball Recap: West Plains Comes Up Short at Home Against Osage

West Plains unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Osage Indians by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The Zizzers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Osage has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Plains will host Rolla at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Osage, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Boonville at 5:00 p.m.
