On TuesdayFront Range Baptist kept up with Lyons until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Everything went the Lyons Lions' way against the Front Range Baptist Falcons as the Lyons Lions made off with a 60-37 victory.

Caleb Christiansen was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 14 on his way to 18 points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Wyatt Fitzgerald also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Front Range Baptist's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mark Sutton, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 19 boards. Sutton is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games he's played dating back to last season. Ethan Pierce was another key player, putting up eight points.
Lyons' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Front Range Baptist, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.
Lyons will square off against Liberty Common at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lyons is facing Liberty Common at the right time seeing as Liberty Common is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Front Range Baptist, they will face off against Loveland Classical at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Loveland Classical's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
