Soccer Game Preview: Tamalpais vs. Colfax

The Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks will face off against the Colfax Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tamalpais is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Tamalpais' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Branson by a score of 2-0. Hana Leach had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Red Tailed Hawks.

Meanwhile, Colfax earned a 3-1 win over Lincoln on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Colfax's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five games. As for Tamalpais, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-5.
